Every time I visit Alameda, I make sure to stop by Macondo Colombian Fusion. This place is the ultimate destination for indulging in authentic Colombian cuisine, including arepas, pandebonos, and empanadas. Today, I tried their Frijolada Colombiana, which was incredibly flavorful and generous enough to serve two people. The crispy chicharron and sweet plantains were a delightful accompaniment to the savory arepas.

Everything we ordered was amazing!! So flavorful. The Choclo or Chocolo Arepa was the perfect blend of sweet and savory, the Baked Chicken Empanada was crispy and the potatoes were a perfect addition, empanadas were both delicious, and the arepas were so fresh. The guava sauce on the Grilled Plantain was sooo good. 10/10!

Incredible food with an amazing depth in the flavor. Frijoles Colombian Style are unbelievably delicious and the Chicken Empanada is exactly like the empanadas I had in Pasto. Guanabana Juice (Soursop) is fresh. And the Farmers Arepa, Choclo or Chocolo Arepa are both heavenly. Portions are generous, too.

The Colombianisima Arepa with Maduro (caramelized plantain) was absolutely delicious. Best arepas I've ever had!! Also the Maracuya Juice (Passion Fruit) was soooo yummy and tasted just like fresh passion fruit

First time ordering Colombian food. Got a little bit of everything. The Perico Arepa was good I had a few bites to taste it and saving rest for breakfast. Like a fat thick tortilla. The Quesabirria Arepa was very good BUT they gave a tiny little container of consome. That's enough for two BITES. Same with the Lechona Empanada. Very good but TINY container. You need to quadruple that container size lads. The desert was Aborrajado and it's like an apple pie that's deep fried in ball form. Very good an rich. I was so full and bloated I couldn't finish it all. 11/10 would have diabetes again.
