Mediterranean Aroma a cute simple place that makes you craving for more. Farid, the owner, has a gift for hospitality that sets the tone from the moment you arrive — warm, genuine, and completely unhurried.
The food is incredibly fresh and tasty in a way that many Mediterranean restaurants in the city simply aren't - portions very generous and fresh ingredients of high quality! An incredible value for the money! It's the kind of place that quietly embarrasses more expensive restaurants without trying.

Med aroma never disappoints. I'm only writing this review because I don't ever want them to go out of business. I genuinely believe it is some of the best food in the city. They give amazing portions and the food feels so fresh. Everything is bursting with flavor. The Chicken is so juicy and tender and the rice is so fluffy. This is one of those places that I will always coming back to.

One of the best meals I've had all year: I got the AROMA BOWL, chicken kabob, side of fries, and the GARLIC SAUCE half pint. Chicken was unctuous, juicy, you can really taste the smoke from the grill. Rice was fluffy and unbelievably flavorful. Fries were to die for: crispy and perfectly salted. The garlic sauce was hands-down the best I have ever had. If this place isn't at the top of your list, trust me: YOU ARE MISSING OUT!

The photos do not do this place justice. The Lamb Shawarma Plate is so tender and has so much food on it. Even the tabbouleh is fresh and not sour which is great! Also the pita bread is high quality and not thin and cheap. This is a HUGE bang for buck place. I can't believe I found out just now about it. I would definitely order here always when I want a good halal cart plate. Also the hummus had sumac already on it which tells me already this place is legit and good. I would say I'm a halal cart connoisseur and this place is my top spot in SF.
Also I ordered the Chicken Kabob Plate and that looks delicious.
