Burnt ends are without a doubt the most flavorful I have ever tasted!
I wish they were a permanent item on the menu. Hush Puppies and Grits are hands down the best this far north. In reality, they are better than I have had at some places down south.

Absolutely kills it EVERY time! I can't hype this place up enough! The taste brings me right back to the Carolinas and the portions are amazing! The Baby Back Ribs are fall off the bone and the Honey Buttermilk Cornbread is soooooo fresh!

Ordered the Brisket Plate and with an extra side of a different bbq sauces. There was only 2 slices of brisket, most places you order a sandwich and get more than this and for how high the price was I was left hungry. Something that also doesn't happen at most bbq places

We loved the rib plate and the house salad. Potato salad could've been cooked a little longer on the potatoes and a lot of pickles could go less.
Macaroni and cheese was overcooked.

I've ordered from them many times but this time I do have an issue with the lemon pie
this restaurant is a pricier one, which I get because they are slow smoking the meat and it takes time
but when it comes to the pie, I paid $10 (on sale price) for a singular slice of pie that is pretty banged up, and nowhere on the menu invdoordash did it say it was a single slice, it makes it look like you're getting a whole pie and when the price is 12-13$I too assumed it was a whole pie, I would definitely say they need to update the doordash menu to make it clear you're getting a slice of pie not a whole pie, and sadly the pie was not very good I would not order the pie again you can get a much better pie at market basket
