I love this place. One of my biggest qualms with moving to Humboldt was saying goodbye to the sandwich shop in my hometown. In my 8 years of living here, I haven't found another place with that same level of quality and price. But The Grotto filled that need INSTANTLY. Seriously, this place is the real deal. Even the things that aren't usually my taste are incredible. Probably my favorite breakfast sandwich of all time. But everything is amazing. Also asked them to cater an event for me, and it was a HUGE hit. There weren't any left overs. Love y'all <3

Don't sleep on this spot!! Absolutely units of sandos, the recipes are all perfect, I've never had a bad one yet and I've almost tried all of them. The service is amazing and the food is fresh and always right on time. Perfect for a quick lunch!!

Literally the BEST sandwiches, every single recipe is a banger, do not sleep on this spot!! Huge sandos that will leave you full and not needing more - excellent beverage choices - and some excellent service!

The Grotto sent my "Carrie's Italian Sub" in a bag marked "Thank you." By the time I finished it, I was licking my fingers and saying "No, thank YOU." Absolutely delicious. A solid lunchtime sandwich to fill ya up.
