this is the 2nd day this week that I'm working in Shippenville. on my first day, I saw this restaurant & ordered a spicy chicken Kabob Bowl and samosas. So delicious! the samosa pastry was so flaky & the filling was creamy. the kabab Bowl was ordered with rice only; the chicken was beautifully spicy and tender. both flavors i kept craving after finishing so.... I ordered today again with a repeat of the spicy chicken Kabob Bowl > which was as delicious as the first day and Veggie Jalfrezi spicy. the veggies hold their texture well and the sauce is just a creamy, spicy heavenly dream. I look forward to days out here to work my way through thus menu!!!

I ordered lamb, they asked my Doordasher if I would be ok with chicken, they ended up giving me meatballs. lol
Overall though, the Butter Masala and Shack Naan has great flavors. I can do without the basmati rice, it was quite bland.

The Tikka Wrap > contained paneer that was so overcooked I wasn't even sure it was paneer at first---just a bunch of rock hard cubes in my wrap.
The Samosa (2 PC.) filling is... salty, gray mush. I've never had one like this where you can't see peas and potatoes when you bite into it. It didn't taste good at all.
The rice is also really weird. Hard and dry. Not cooked well, and not what I expect of basmati rice.
I'm sad that, in Clarion, this is probably many's first experience eating Indian food. I hope people realize it's usually so much better than Tikka Shack.

I ordered the tikka masala with vegetables. And although the sauce tasted kind of good the vegetables seemed like they weren't cooked and the cauliflower was still frozen.. the garlic naan was really good but because my bf is from India and i have had authentic Indian food I just dont think it was a good experience at all
