It's somewhat inconsistent, maybe depending on available ingredients or the mood of the chef, but my meals have always been enjoyable. I have come to trust the chef and so I have been trying something new along with an old favorite each time. This week the “new” was crispy eggplant – just battered eggplant served with a sort of relish on the side. Loved. “Old favorite” was Pad Ped Pla Dook – crispy battered fish and vegetables served in a delicious sauce.

The flavors of my two entrees were very enjoyable and I will order from here again even though portions were not very generous and cooking was uneven. I had Beef with Oyster Sauce and Pad Woon Sen with crispy pork. The pork was over done and was served with only a few onions and red peppers over a large bed of noodles. My Vegetable Spring Rolls had no flavor and the cabbage filling should also have been more finely chopped.

The Drunken Noodles were very flavorful. I do wish the portion size was larger to accommodate two servings instead of one.

All of the food I ordered had issues:
1) Crispy Banana and Homemade Ice Cream - It arrived melted and was a soupy mess. For some unknown reason, it was placed in the same bag as hot food.
2) Sticky Rice: It arrived as an oval shaped, rubbery patty wrapped in saran wrap. I've never seen rice packaged that way. It was absolutely inedible.
3) Drunken Noodles: It was full of onions and had very little chicken. The spice level was too hot for me. No choice was offered as to mild, medium or spicy.
Needless to say, I won't be ordering from 29 Pad Thai again. I now also need to find something to eat for dinner.

Delicious! Some of the best Thai food in the region, imo
