This use to be one of my favorite places but the quality has really gone downhill the gravy is thick and black and taste old and burnt. The cheeseburger tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Just terrible.

My first experience was the crabcake Poboy, which was OK and that's what earned them a second trip. Today I brought my wife along with me and we wanted to try their seafood sampler plate. The fish was soggy. The shrimp were rubbery and overcooked. The onion rings were cold, and the oysters was OK. For the amount of money that I paid for that plate I was expecting something far better than what I had experienced today simply because the crabcake Poboy was about a 7.5 maybe a 6.5 out of 10, but you can't win them all my overall experience today I would have to say was a 4.5. It'll probably be a long time if I ever go there again. I wish I would've taken a picture of the soggy fish and the overcooked shrimp before I threw it in the trash.

All our food was delicious! Portion size are huge! Fries and onion rings were fresh and hot even as they were delivered! You could tell they were just cooked and hadn't been sitting under a heat lamp! Hamburger was absolutely delicious and the oyster poboy had was great! We will definitely be ordering again!

Roast Beef Po-Boy is alright, but absolutely nothing compared to the sloppy roast beef po boy you used to serve under previous ownership. I'd be more than willing to pay the jacked up price if it was still that good. I miss the "Real" pirates cove. :'(
