Puerto Rican Spice is hands-down the BEST food in North Port—no contest. If I could give them more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. Every time I order, it feels like I’m getting a home-cooked meal made with love and serious flavor.
The pernil is absolutely next level—juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned, with that crispy skin that dreams are made of. And don’t even get me started on the yellow rice… it’s rich, savory, and the perfect companion to every bite.
You can taste the passion in every dish. This isn’t just food, it’s comfort, culture, and community all wrapped in a to-go container.

Everything tastes fantastic and authentic. My only complaint is that take out portions are small especially for the meat.

For the grilled chicken I honestly expect chicken quarters instead of breasts. The rice and chicken were full
Of flavor as expected and had a fresh taste. This is my second time ordering and would most likely order again.

The Carne frita Fried Pork Chunks was delicious, as were the sweet plantains & yellow rice with pigeon peas. The Arroz Mamposteados - Mixed was also delicious! Thank you once again for the amazing home cooked meal!
