This is my first time ordering! The plates are decently sized and the portions are appropriate for the price! Everything tasted great and I look forward to trying more dishes soon!
The OxTail is very flavorful and you get around 4-5 pieces. The rice is well cooked and its seasoned well
The Mac n cheese and greens are pretty good , I do wish I got alittle bit more greens overall.
The Pound Cake was really good. It's got that nice moist to dry ratio and a ton of flavor!

I ordered the oxtails, mac and cheese, yams, and a side of cornbread yesterday and I absolutely loved the food.
I’m a New York native, so I’ve had plenty of experiences eating phenomenal oxtails over the years. These were easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
My only small qualm was the mac and cheese. It had a bit too much MSG for my taste. I’m sensitive to MSG, so the flavor came through pretty strong for me. I ended up pairing it with the yams to balance it out and that actually worked really well.
Now the cornbread deserves its own moment. It was delicious and honestly reminded me of my mother’s cornbread. I was literally sitting in my bed eating it before I fell asleep lol.
I also want to say thank you for bringing authentic soul food to this area. I live in Alamance County and there is truly no soul food to be found here. There’s plenty of southern style food, but real soul food is almost nonexistent.
I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you for the authenticity.

Everything was phenomenal and arrived fresh and hot ! The only thing I disliked were the yams.
They had a weird bitter taste that I just couldn't pinpoint and a little over cooked for my liking .
But baby , those Pork Chop smothered !! Absolutely amazing !! And the portion size was plenty . I finished one before I even thought of taking a picture and I'll have a leftover plate for later lol. The Collard Green Eggroll were amazing ! Who would've thought of doing that . And the Pound Cake , oh my good goodness! So moist and the strawberry crunch option was a nice touch . Will be ordering from here again.

BEST! Soul food ive ever had!! Everything was good and fresh! The batter on the fish was amazing and the yams were so delicious! Great prices as well. 10/10 recommend!!

The Fried Fish and the Holiday Eggrolls are fire this is some real southern cooking. Also Mac and Mac N Cheese and yams to die for I will be ordering from here again and portion sizes are good
