The Carrot Cake was the best I've ever had. Decadent, moist, the top had a good caramelized crunch of pecans and candied ginger. Dessert is usually an afterthought but this was Outstanding.
The Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes were well seasoned and really tasty. Stick to your ribs comfort food.
The Sesame Crusted Mountain Trout was good but the protein portion was undersized for $32.00. The filets were small and thin and I just didnt see the value. The sweet potato fritters stole the show on the plate.

Milton's is delicious as usual. I've only eaten there in person. I was a little disappointed with the amount of food for the price . I ordered the crab cakes. They were very small and I received 2 pieces of asparagus. I did get a large portion of grits.

Didnt get a photo before I dug in but wow was this good. Perfect balance of flavors with the crab cake and beurre blanc sauce , my favorite part was the corn risotto though! Would definitely recommend. Chocolate mousse was rich and perfectly sweet, would recommend that too!

Most everything we ordered was delicious. The crab bisque, the deviled eggs, the crab cakes, and the carrot cake were all wonderful. The Prime Bacon Meatloaf is usually delightful, but our square of meatloaf had too much char and tasted bitter. The Milton's Garden Vegetables were terrible - hardly seasoned and severely undercooked. The broccolini that came with the meatloaf was also way underdone and bland.

The food overall is tasty. What I dislike is the substitutions from what is stated on the menu. I have ordered the pork chop four times. The first time I received exactly what the menu states. The 2nd and 3rd times the broccolini was subbed with green beans. Today, order #4, neither side was correct and the sauce was absent. Today I received corn. At least the green beans were as green vegetable. I didn't complain. The corn tasted fine but it is not what is stated on the menu and not what I wanted. I wonder if dine-in customers are served a plate of corn when they order broccolini. Update the menu or serve what is stated. Also today the chop was a bit on the dry side and tough.
