The 3 Piece Fish Whiting was seasoned just right and fried to perfection. The portion size was generous, the string beans were on point, and that sweet potato soufflé… yessss! The only thing I would’ve loved is a little crunchy topping or crust on the soufflé, but it was still absolutely delicious.
My son ordered the Mac & Cheesewith Fried Chicken Gizzards , and his review said it all: “It tastes like somebody’s auntie made it.” He said they did their big one with the Fried Chicken Gizzards and he will be going back for more! Overall, we had a really good meal and would definitely be back

Everything was fresh, seasoned, and delicious. The Extra Cornbread was almost like cake. The Fried Chicken was fried to perfection. You get a decent portion for the price. TThis was our first ordering from here and we'll definitely be ordering again.

I ordered the 3 Piece Fish Whitingand it included 2 sides. The food was cooked fresh. I chose the collars/greens and mashed potatoes with gravy. The fish was well seasoned and all of the sides were portioned well and everything was delicious. I read someone's review and they gave high praise for the sweet potato soufflé so I added it and I'm glad I did.
The owner came out and she asked me if I wanted to try a jerk chicken wrap because she was thinking of adding it to the menu. Oh, my god! That wrap was incredible.
The gentleman that greeted me said they've been opened since May 2026. This spot is an up-and-coming hidden gem. I will most definitely come back.

So I got a new job in Portsmouth and I've tried some places in my break. This is the best so far. I was losing hope. But Crystal restored my faith! The seeetpotwto soufflé was exactly what it was supposed to be. Not too sweet very flavorful, the mac and cheese was real and so good. Everything was hot. I wanted to ask for my 3 Piece Fish Whiting to be friend hard but that wasn't and option and even tho the fish was softer than I'd prefer I still give it a 10/10. Thanks for my first good meal in a month for lunch.

 I got pork chop, and the fish special dinner with macaroni and cheese, green beans, cabbage, and collards with mashed potatoes even though the mashed potatoes didn't come with gravy they didn't need it. It was really good!! All the sides, amazing fish, super fresh
