The Tonkatsu was perfect.
It was crunchy, thick and juicy, with the perfect balance of fat and meat. The tonkatsu sauce brought the whole dish together.
You know when you have a dish that just makes you smile with absolute content and brings nostaligic feelings because it's THAT good?
This did it for me.
The karaage was crunchy and juicy. Definitely my new favourite place.

I've ordered from here 10+ times in the last year and have always been extremely impressed by the quality of everything. However, this most recent order was very disappointing. All of the katsu in the Katsu Don and Tonkatsu Bento was burnt and there was a noticeable drop in the quality of the meat itself. The Gyu-Don portion was also very small. I understand that we placed an order relatively late in the day but that has never been an issue in the past. Hopefully it's better again next time.

Everything tasted so home made and balanced. Even the sauces and pickled ingredients were out of the world! Not to mention the cook and flavours of the chicken and salmon. Just perfection!

What a sad bento box. I received a skinny strip of salmon that was over cooked. Salad with no dressing. The most generous part of this meal was the white rice. I can't believe I paid money for this.

First time ordering from the store. Everything was really salty. I realize that Salted Salmon will be salty, but it was almost inedible. The curry rice was also salty, and had an odd texture and a "plastic" flavor.
This is a well liked restaurant, but it's just not for me.
