The pozole is my favorite soup in DFW- has a little kick and you can tell it's homemade and loaded with chicken and veggies. The taco salad is delicious, great amount of meat and salad!

They catered our Christmas lunch last week so I thought I would give them a try. I ordered an entree of Pozole (packed in a large plastic sealed container) opened and it smells so fresh, it is a bit spicy for me but tolerable (i'm a weakling with caliente) and filled with hominy. It comes with a separate side of small diced radishes, onions, red cabbage, jalapenos and some oregano. Personally, I like generous toppings than what they provided but all in all great tasting pozole! The free bag of chips and small container of salsa was a surprise and delight.

Avila's is one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Dallas! It's legendary. Their food is excellent, and the queso is exceptional.

Always great and they are the only delivery Mexican food place conscientious enough to send the taco meat in a separate container so my tacos don't arrive soggy. Love the hot hot salsa too!
