The food is always amazing, but the portions keep getting smaller while the prices are increasing. I was charged $7 for a few squares of Besun Burfi, for example. This used to come in a large container, filled up all the way and for under $5. Now its in a smaller container, filled halfway, and $7?! We've been ordering here for years and the small things matter.

The Navrattan Korma is my most favorite thing on the menu! it's rich, flavorful, and so insanely comforting. Not to mention absolutely delicious. The vegetables are super fresh and it's definitely enough for 2 meals! Top it off with that MANGO LASSI is absolute perfection! I've ordered this combo like 12 times and will continue to order it...at least once a week!

Seriously, I've been searching for a really good Indian restaurant since I left England 30+ years ago. Tonight, I found it! Best Indian food ever! Everything was top notch! Flavors: Out if this world! Portions: Massive! We bought the meal for two, and found that it would easily feed four! These guys truly are the best around. I've tried about 4 different Indian restaurants just in the last 2 months, and these guys get my top vote! I will no longer be searching. I have found the best of the best. Kudos! We ordered: Feast for Two and Vegetable Samosa(2PCS)
Thank you!

So we've had almost all the Indian food in Houston and unfortunately most of them are still not as good and the other top places across the country , this is still one area Houston is very weak in, lots of Indian restaurants but most are average at best. That is the same case here with Noon Mirch. So their butter chicken is good but everything else is just meh tbh. Most places in Houston make a decent butter chicken and an okay Masala so nothing special there.
The hardest thing to find in this city is a good Korma and after seeing good ratings for Mirch we decided to try it and we were very disappointed, highly over rated and honestly not good Korma, too aromatic and not enough depth on the sauce.
Also this place is severely overpriced, I have no idea why they think they can charge $22-25 dollars for some curry but you are better off buying from any other Indian place for the same quality if not better tbh for $15 or less. One thing I will say is they do give a good amount of meat so that is a positive for this place but still not worth the price.
Also they are very inconsistent (typical for Houston restaurants) we noticed, we try to order at least 2 times from places before leaving reviews and the first time we ordered the food was better than the second and the spice levels were different after picking the same ones.
So overall I would give this place a 6.5/10 because it's overpriced and nothing special. If you just want butter chicken then give it a try but you can save money and get just as good at most other places.

GINGER LEMONADE was very refreshing. Roti was a very large piece, great value for the price. And the Chicken Masala (Basmati rice) was delicious and full of chicken.
