I've gotten food from here at the resturaunt and off of door dash multiple times and no matter what I get it is always quick to be made and delicious. The portions are always big too so I always have left overs, which is great. Never have gotten smth bad from here

Fresh food that is always warm when it arrives. The paneer is home made and the sauce isn't overly oily or buttery but it's perfect comfort food. The price is slightly steep but worth it for the high quality

Gotta say, although the Chicken Tikka was tasty, its so cheap when you order a $23 main dish that comes with a small basmati rice container that is only 75% full.
The Raita may as well have advertised as a lot of buttermilk yogurt with five small dices of cucumber. Not impressed.

Malai Marke is my favorite Indian take-out, and there's a lot of competition in NYC. My usual go-to is lamb vindaloo, medium hot and garlic nan. FANTASTIC. The reason for 4 stars is that I recently ordered Lamb Madras, garlic nan and laccha paratha. What I wanted was a more mild version of vindaloo, but it had no heat despite ordering "medium spice" and a flavor that I didn't care for. Maybe the curry leaves? The paratha was very heavy, not flaky and the garlic nan was undercooked (under-baked?). This was unusual for MM; everything is usually amazing. Next time I'll stick to the vindaloo! It is the best I've ever had in NYC.

overall, average. Lamb chops very good. Saag Paneer good, cauliflower good. Malai Kulfi dessert very good. Raita and mango chutney good. But worst Samosa I have had in my 37 years eating NYC Indian cuisine, including about 20 years of regular Indian take out---tough, chewy dough, on the oily side, hardly any crispiness at all; filling flavors dull, but ok . The Chicken Tikka Roll had a very nice, fresh naan bread but sooooo much bread and very little chicken (literally twice as much bread as needed for any balance) with an out of place and awful mayonnaise-like sauce (I imagine the Malai Marke special sauce?) that made it all mush—beware that roll!
