We have been on a search for authentic carbonara (made with egg) and this was really good... but the portions are very small. The takeout container was only about half full. Maybe the portions are better for dine in. Just disappointing for the price.

Dry, not enough sauce. Especially on the Scaloppine Pinoli.
4 Shrimp for the Gamberoni Gorgonzola? For almost $30 per dish. Ridiculously small portions.
$8.00 for a small side salad. They use to come with the meal. With a choice of Soup or Salad.
Bread also use to come with Tapanade. Now it's just dry, boring bread.
I get times are tight. But over $60 for two small dinners and a small salad is pathetic, to say the least.
We have been eating with Gianni's for over 40 years. Struggling to stay as a regular customer.

I got the eggplant parmesan with a salad, breadbasket and tapenade. The eggplant consisted of too thick of slices of eggplant that were not breaded or seasoned. The pieces were so big and undercooked that I had a hard time taking a bite out of them. They were on top of a minimal amount of penne pasta that definitely didn't taste fresh. For $18.50 I would've expected some effort. The salad was a box of plain lettuce. The breadbasket was a cold baguette sliced and delivered in foil plain with no butter or oil. The $1.50 tapenade is a salad dressing cup filled halfway. I was treating myself to a nice meal tonight because the kids are away and am so disappointed. I'm frustrated that I spent more than I typically would for an entree when I could've treated myself to something else. I threw away the eggplant and now I'm going to heat a microwave meal.

The "bread basket" was some sliced baguette in some foil. The "salad" was lettuce with some dressing- no toppings. The meatballs were $7.50 and very small. The gnocchi was good but far overpriced. I won't be purchasing from here again.
