I was attending a conference at University of Illinois Chicago and didn't have time to go pick up lunch. I love chicken, curry and crab meat Rangoon's but who doesn't?! The food was delivered hot and fresh! Thanks Mario! The crab meat Rangoon's were the best I've ever had and I've had quite a few. The homemade sauce they provided was phenomenal. Not your run-of-the-mill squeeze it out of a package kind of sauce either. This was homemade. The chicken curry with eggplant and peas and the side order of white rice was stellar. The portion sizes were more than substantial. I ordered the mild curry and it was spicy! This coming from someone who likes spice. Customer beware !
I'm Placing AMARIT Thai and sushi on my list to order from for my next visit to Chitown.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered the hot fried red Hot Fried Curry ( Red curry). This is usually one of the safest options at a Thai place. Because the taste and flavor is pretty consistent across different restaurants. This curry was bland in every aspect. I'm not talking about the spice level here whichI might add was not high despite my choosing so- I'm talking about the taste itself or rather the lack of it. Eating red curry from any Thai place is usually such a treat. This was more like a chore and I felt like adding salt or some seasoning with every bite I was taking(I did add some after a while). The potion size was more than enough and both the curry and the rice look fresh and hot when delivered. I would rather go for places like Opart, Silver spoon Thai and Thai spoon & Sushi.

Crab Meat Fried Rice reeked of old seafood.
Orange Chicken was dry, chewy and seemed like they used low quality chicken.
Spicy Tuna Maki was average but adequate enough for price, was unfortunately the best part of meal

Their Panang Curry is heaven in a bowl! The absolute best! Beef or chicken - either way you can't go wrong!

The crab ragoons where good but the Pad see Ew was bland and not good at all. I've had this dish many times before and never has it had bell peppers in it. It's like they just threw them in there. Won't order from here again.
