OMG! The grilled Chicken Traditional - Lunch Special and the Side of Risotto - Mushroom are so so delicious!!!! Just arrived from a long trip and this food made my night!!! Everything was fresh and hot!!! That Side of Risotto - Mushroom really surprised me!!! It was the star of the meal!!!!

I've ordered from Bossa Nova multiple times, but this last time was off the charts good. Their gnocchi is pillowy, soft, and stuffed with some sort of cheese. I got it in their Rosada sauce which is my all-time favorite. I could go on and on about the flavor and generous portion sizes they offer. The best and most authentic Brazilian food I've had in LA, hands down.

My entire meal was drowning in a layer if oil. The meat came raw when I asked for medium rare. Istill ate it because it was a $40 meal. I also got two pieces of asparagus. Oily asparagus,but iwish I had more than two stalks. Not worth the price.

Chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries. It was absolutely phenomenal. Very flavorful with the blackened charcoal chicken that they use. The sweet potato fries could've been crispier, but it was probably the amount time I took to get to my house. Other than that, I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you.

I ordered the same meal the day before from the Bossa Nova restaurant in Hawthorne/ Lawndale and I have to admit that the meal I'm Lawndale was better. The food was mild in temperature, not hot and the flavor was off, also the sauce that was given from the Downtown restaurant was watery and had no taste. I live downtown and order from the Olympic store quite often but I've been disappointed by this restaurant. Customer service from both places are great but the food downtown needs to be better. I suggested a friend order the salmon and shrimp pasta and she was given a very small amount of "shredded" salmon, witha few shrimps (3). She was so disappointed that she didn't eat her food, she felt her money was wasted on the small amount of protein provided. Again the customer service is great but please make sure the to go orders are better
