Food quality is not an issue with this restaurant. I've been to tons of cafes in the Twin Cities and Alma is among the best. The Fresh Ricotta & Toast is excellent! Best sourdough in the city. However actually ORDERING from the restaurant is hit or miss. They will never (I repeat, NEVER) confirm your order in a timely manner. It doesn't matter how busy or slow a restaurant is, this has never been an issue with any other store on DoorDash in my years of using it. What's worse is that often your order won't get confirmed at all and you'll have to go to the restaurant itself to place an order manually. It makes ordering from this spot extremely tedious and unreliable. Staff are helpful and polite but this issue makes getting my food orders of magnitude longer and more obnoxious than it needs to be. Much of their menu also appears to be missing from their storefront. I highly recommend Cafe Alma, but maybe just order to-go at the store itself instead of using Doordash.

Order wasn't ready when I showed up. There was problem on their end of the doordash , , they made it seem like it was my fault. She also tried to get me to pay again to place the order. I refused. Service was rude like they had better things to do. This was my second bad experience at Cafe Alma. Never an apology. Corner Store was really dry, and tough to finish eating.

just want you guys to know that you make the best smoothies in Minnesota. I am pregnant and I can say this has been one of my best smoothies in Minnesota. I will be ordering another one pretty soon.

Some of the best food you can get on DoorDash - truly excellent. However, every single time I order I am missing half of the items. With an extra $6.99 fee to deliver and to only receive $20 worth of the $60 order it gets harder and harder to want to order from this place. It is nearly a 100% issue rate with Cafe Alma.
