Slow cooked lamb soup is really good and even better if you are not feeling great. After eating it (it was flavorful and lots of umami) I felt I had more energy. The soup was also not salty and the portions were generous. Seriously order this soup if you have are dealing with the flu or cold. You will feel better.
The samosa was different but enjoyable. Will definitely order from here again. It's really good comfort food.

I lived in Osh, Kyrgyzstan for 2+ years, and this place is the REAL DEAL; it's more than authentic; it literally tastes like home in the best way. Not only are the dishes all excellent in their own right, but they also have curated a great selection of some of the less well-known dishes. Those new to the cuisine should try plov and manty (dumplings) first, and the samsas are always great as well. If you're adventurous, they have "laza," which is Central Asian hot sauce/chili crisp, which is an all-time favorite of mine that I've never been able to find before this side of Chicago.

This could've been higher but the Achik Gusht was inedibly dry. Just badly overcooked and probably the wrong cut of beef for the dish. The samosa was good stuff as usual but once again the beef was on the overcooked side -- over there it was saved by being ground beef in a brothy juicy filling. Now the Polov though, really warm and homely, generous portion, and the lamb was not overcooked. The Olivier and Suzma were nice touches of freshness that I appreciated -- can actually have the Olivier by itself as a meal next time because the portion was quite sizable. Overall decent, simple, homely, and filling...but nothing spectacular.
