• 22/05/25Wow! Now this is Authentic food! None of that nasty texmex food ive been finding everywhere else. 10/10. Perfect for those days you dont feel like cooking but still want a "home cooked meal." I got the enchiladas verdes de pollo. The horchata is also delicious and tastes homemade!

I typically don't order out especially Mexican food because it's difficult for me to want to pay restaurant prices for food I can make better at home. I've been sick with a bug and too tired to cook and really wanted nachos, so decided to give Case De Nena a shot.
We ordered a Carne Asada Burrito, Birria Tacos and Carne Asada Nachos.
I was pleasantly surprised everything was well seasoned and the Red Salsa was actually flavorful and *muy picante* which is hard to find in UT. The other salsas were great, too. The Birria tacos were just okay, but I'm not usually a huge fan of them anyway, so I won't doc them a whole star for my preference. The consomé was super tasty and the tortillas were hand made, supple and very good.
We'll definitely be back!

• 22/07/26$20 for 3 small enchiladas and a tiny scoop of rice and beans is wild. I've never received such small portions from a Mexican restaurant.

• 22/05/22the quesabirria and birria burrito were tasteless,no flavor. The only difference between my plate and the kids was one quesabirria. same size helpings all for double the price.

• 19/09/23The three birria tacos were wonderful. For the price, probably should have been 4 tacos. But the picture dictates what you will get in your order. The picture showed cheese, i got none. But within the order I could buy cheese to put on it. Thinking that I dont need more cheese i didnt select it. The beans and rice was just ok. But again, the picture shows at least two scoops of each, I received 1 max. Thank you
