I cannot mention the years I have been dealing with this restaurant. I love the owners/family. My most favorite meal is Ackee And Saltfish. I have tried many other items on the menu and everything is so flavorful and delicious. The prices are absolutely great comparing to the amount of food your getting. I can never eat one meal in one setting. It always takes 2 settings to eat one meal. Thank you to Downs River Restaurant for keeping our community grounded with your food. We love you.

The Mac and cheese had no taste and only had cheese on top which was hard. Also meat portions were very small for the size of the order. Very disappointing..

For once they had actual roti bread with callaloo inside only thing for me is I want I tiny bit of spice in it otherwise than that it was perfect to give to a child it wasn't salty , it was perfect!

I get exactly what I ordered exactly how I ordered it and the Ackee and Saltfish was just right, not too greasy, not too salt or fresh, just on point
