• 1 day agoThis is my weekly go to for NewEngland style Chinese. Take out. Many places are closing down but Dragon Chef continues to perform with the same great flavor, quick service, and all around consistency.
My go to staples are Lobster Sauce, Chicken Chow Mein, Two Appetizers And Pork Fried Rice, and Meatless Egg Foo Yong. And every other dish I try, like the house lo mein, sweet & sour pork, soups, etc., they're all good!
Food portions are typical and fill up a standard take out container. They don't seem to skimp out on ingredients IMO.
Food is fresh and always tastes made to order as it comes piping hot.
Best Chinese takeout I'm aware of in the Watertown/Cambridge/Somerville, Medford, Everett area!

• 22/06/23Love the rangoons every time! The General Gau'S Chicken With Pork Fried Rice is pretty great but I think it could use a little more meat imo. Not to say the platter wasn't full or filling! Lots of rice, very yummy.

• 18/12/24Outstanding food, the rice was the perfect mix of fluffy, lightly sticky, flavorful and cooked to perfection.
The spring roll is lightly and delightfully filled with veggies. Crispy and gone quick!
crab rangoon was obviously and exceptionally made with imitation crab I believe, it doesn't have that "seafood" taste and I am more than okay with that it was really good and stuffed to the brim. not dry and airy like some places.
not sure how the chicken/steak teriyaki was prepared. I assume some kind of firebox/smoker. also cooked PERFECTLY and juicy and delicious
5 stars too many hits here for me. I'll be seeing you guys New Year's Eve GREAT JOB!!!

• 12/08/22Did not give white rice for my entree, orange chicken. That is trash. But the orange chicken was impressively delish. They put sauce on side so it doesn't get soggy, vastly increasing re-heat value. Would have given 4* cuz no white rice but quality of food is so good I had to give 5*

• 14/12/25House Special Lo Mein - bland, low quality ingredients. it's like the restaurant was trying to pass this off to drunk college kids at 3am.
Crab Rangoon - solid.
Beef With Vegetables -laughably bad. small portion of beef. should be called vegetables with beef.
