Wow!!!! My son wasn't in the mood for a lot of food so he chose the 12.00 deal 1 Large juicy pork chop and 1 side W/cornbread and an as usual it was loaded!!!!!! Ella Mae's always the soul food innovator never the imitator....Best soul food downriver.

I'm so glad I trusted my gut and the 5 star reviews because this soul food was top notch! Honestly the greens were some of the best I've ever had and also had a tiny little kick to them.. So good mixed on the fork with some of the Mac and cheese, which was damn tasty. Smothered pork chops and the dark meat chicken were so good and juicy, the chicken skin was nice and crispy with so much flavor. You can taste all the seasonings and love in the yams, and since they were out of dressing, they threw in an extra side of the mashed potatoes and gravy which slapped like everything else. These 2 meals fed 5 of us. Only downside was the cornbread was little on the dry side, but the taste was on point.

Food was amazing Pork Chops were on the thin side but were cooked to perfection. We are just used to their thick cut chops but still a 5 star spot and we will order again and again.

The greens need to be cooked a little longer. They still had a slight crunch to them with no flavor. The steak bites were tough with no flavor and came with the oil and juices it was cooked in. The bottom of my container was full of meat juice. The yams were great! Decent portions given and the price is fair.

I ordered two of the $12 boxes. The price for the amount of food is great. Very reasonable portions. The chicken was tasty. The Mac and cheese was decent. The gravy on the turkey chop was not good. It took away from the chop. It was a little over cooked but not terrible. The greens were very seasoned. A little on the spicy side so be mindful. Of the two I would order the 3 wing with one side option again. I'll Find a side that is good. Pictures included.
