Paid 28.00 for a mix portion of chicken. It was a 12 piece chicken. Received almost all wings and thighs. Literally 2 breast. I figured there would be at least 3 breast. Wish I would have paid for the white meat portion now. Assuming the white meat is all chicken breast? I don't know because there aren't any descriptions. The chicken itself is extremely salty! Not just a little salty, extremely salty! Which is concerning since they mostly cater to seniors, who often times have high blood pressure.
The rolls are delicious as usual. However I asked my dasher to get me a mix of butter and regular butter. I ordered 12 rolls. I received 3 honey butters and 2 regular butters. Are you kidding?? Not even a butter per roll. Golden coral added the butter to the bag. Not my dasher.
The mashed potatoes are extremely misleading. Again no useful description, other than the size. I originally added a gravy for 7.99, then I went in and picked out the chicken. Under chicken it had the mashed potatoes. I chose the one that said 24 ounces, it was several dollars cheaper than the other one I had just chosen, and also the same size. Turns out it's 24 ounces potatoes and 10 ounces gravy. So a lot of potatoes, a little gravy and you need to decide if you want butter for the potatoes or the rolls. Unfortunately you can't have both.
I miss the old owner, he was awesome. He cared if the customers were happy, he watched portions and quality. The restaurant was so much better.

It all taste really good. But what's up with the pot roast being all fat? I paid 44 dollars for "feeds 4 people". I assumed it would do just that. It was enough for 2 people because the pot roast was over half fat and inedible. I appreciate what I pay for, and this was less than half a chuck roast I could buy at the store. Maybe people should save their money and just make their own pot roast at this rate.

The steak was 75% fat. On a 5oz steak, that doesn't leave much steak. Also overcooked. Sweet potatoes were good. Baked beans ok.

This used to be my favorite item from Golden coral. It used to be full of flavor and taste just like the classic Mississippi pot roast. Not anymore. This meal showed up with plenty of roast. Ironically no carrots, a ton of onions and a few potatoes. I ordered 2 roast, which should feed quite a lot of people. What a let down this was. I had to have door dash re deliver the meals, thinking there must be some sort of mistake. The redeliver was better. A lot of carrots and potatoes, plenty of roast beef. The flavor though....completely bland and lacking the drippings that usually come along when you purchase the roast beef. This is the second time in a couple months I've had this meal, once in the restaurant at thanksgiving and the other night with delivery. Seasoning goes a long ways, and people enjoy the drippings. The roast was very dry without the drippings. I can't stress how dry this was.
Also apparently you no longer receive butter with your rolls. I actually found this a little pathetic. With how much I spent, I should have received some darn butter.
