usually the food is good and consistent with the portions you're supposed to get, but today I received my order and was supposed to have a 10oz steak and only received a 6oz, I took the time to weigh it bc it was obviously not 10oz, if I'm being charged for a 10oz steak from this menu I should receive a 10oz steak not a tiny steak you get off a children's menu fom texas roadhouse, it was very disappointing and makes me feel like I did not get my money's worth, everything else was good and the flavor was there but it was extremely disappointing to receive such a small steak when it says you get a 10oz

NO MEAT in the Pot Roast meal!! Only 3 pieces of potato and 3 small carrot pieces. THE REST WAS ALL GRAVY! Never happened in the past when I've ordered it. Thankfully, Door Dash comped me but Golden Corral really let me down this time!! Golden Corral Manager should remind workers that DoorDash folks are important customers too!

The fried chicken at Golden Corral is the absolute best. Ever since the local KFC closed, I couldn't really find a restaurant that served good fried chicken. On a whim I decided to try Golden Corral. They can sometimes be harshly criticized, but I was willing to give it a try. I always liked their salad bar so why not. I Door Dashed an individual meal and I was not sorry. I got 2 pieces of chicken, breast and wing. I got 2 sides (side salad and macaroni and cheese). With an individual meal you also get a yeast roll with honey butter, and 2 mini cookies. The salad was incredibly fresh with about 8 grape tomatoes and 3 slices of cucumber. The lettuce was mainly romaine with some iceberg and leaf lettuce I think. Nothing that looked or tasted like yard clippings! I think they could go one step up and offer optional salad fixings. The chicken MIGHT have been in a warmer a bit too long; part of the crust was a little too crunchy, but the inside was perfect. The macaroni and cheese is just like my mom's crockpot version. I also got a side of seafood salad which was fresh and had great flavor. For me, all of that food is easily enough for 2 meals, so $23 including tip is a bargain, especially because I didn't have to go get it. Try it!

Pot Roast had almost no meat, with no seasoning on the veggies
the mashed potatoes are fine, but the buttered corn was overcooked and underseasoned
Macaroni & Cheese tasted weirdly like plastic
wouldn't order either againFried Chicken A La Carte was great though... nice and juicy with crispy skin and good flavorChocolate Cake was a little dry but tasted delicious and the frosting more than made up for the dryness
