• 12/01/25Everything was delicious! Fried items were perfectly cooked. Wingz were so good and slightly smoky, the hot honey lemon pepper sauce has the perfect kick to it. Corn on the cob comes in a seasoned butter sauce, very good. Seafood rice and grilled shrimp bowl was perfect, at a great price. It has pieces of crab in it.

• 2/06/26I always order the seafood Mac. It's amazing and tasty and filling!!!!! Also, the catfish nuggets are thick and delicious by themselves but, even better with their sauce. The corn bread is always the cherry on top. :) you will be full with their portions. It's always fresh.

• 21/09/24Whew! All I can say is that it's worth every single penny. Honey Cornbread was so soft. Seafood rice and salmon bite bowl was amazing. Seafood Mac was to dieeee for. Everything was season to perfection. 10 /10.

• 14/11/25Yes the wings were juicy and cooked to perfection! The gumbo is flavortown! Not hot spicy, flavorful! Iykyk! They added hot sauce packets which I appreciated! Thanks will be excited to try another dish soon!

• 27/06/24Food just gets better and better here! I used to go to a long established shop when my fried Okra cravings hit - but now theirs does not compare! Gumbo House Express makes it with the perfectly light and crispy breading - never over or undercooked!
We used to drive far to a particular food truck in Walterboro for the best shrimp - Gumbo House Express now compares favorably even on the shrimp! I almost regretted getting just the Shrimp Basket (8 Pieces) instead of a much larger order!
Fries great as ever - they sprinkle a very light seasoning on them that is just enough, not too heavy like most places do!
Just an excellent place to eat all around!!!
