I recently had the pleasure of trying the Whiting Dinner (with 2 sides) at Hawks, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The meal was not only reasonably priced but also incredibly filling, arriving piping hot and ready to enjoy. However, I was a bit surprised that it didn’t come with napkins or utensils, which would have made the experience even better.
The dish featured macaroni and cheese with a twist—the addition of celery seed added a unique flavor that caught me off guard. The collard greens were tasty too, complementing the fish nicely. If you’re in the mood for a delicious fish meal that won’t break the bank, I highly recommend checking out Hawks!

The Fried Fish Combination was OK. The fish was great large size and very tasty and not dry. The chicken though could've been cooked a little longer and I didn't receive any shrimp. The fish, collard greens and potato salad was fresh and delicious, and even though there was a couple of problems, I will still order from here again.

This was a great meal, the Fried Fish Combination was very plentiful. The fish chicken and shrimp were large and very tasty. Everything was freshly cooked and just delicious. The sweet tea was delicious just as I like it. I will definitely be ordering again.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I enjoyed my meal! The fish, collards, and shrimp were absolutely delicious. The mac n' cheese is hands down the best I've had from a soul food restaurant in a long time—creamy and full of flavor! And the hush puppies were amazing, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside with a secret ingredient! Thanks for not letting me down!

Was very pleased with the portion size of my fish dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection...like the old fashion way, when Mr. and Mrs. Crawley were alive. They came out on the restaurant floor to ask the customers how the food was. Took me back down memory lane. Overall, I give them a 10 out of 10.
