• 9/05/26A little odd with no egg, or day lily/bamboo shoots but flavorful, definite wok hey here says they have an experienced chef. Wonton was subtle and lovely, little bits of char siu were welcomed. This place is the best in Kingwood, the other location baobae is mediocre by comparison.

• 5/04/26Good food. Some portion sizes were small for the price, such as the Pork Lo Mein. But the rest of the portion sizes good. Happy Family was good. Happy to find a place that has Crab Puffs (4 Pc) without onions. Bananas Foster Pie was delicious! Would order again.

• 8/12/24The Mandarin Shrimp was very overcooked, hard, and couldn't be eaten. It has a good flavor but we couldn't even chew it because the batter was too hard. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp were bland and had no taste. The sauce for them wasn't good either. The fried rice was tasty a moist. Bananas Foster Pie taste like school pudding. The Tuxedo Cake was as expected. I would avoid this place.

• 18/02/26We have been eating from all Hunan restaurants owned by this owner and really think he should visit this location and fix the quality of the food at Hunan Express.
8 Treasurer did not even taste original, terrible quality. Green beans and brown rice also missed the mark. This has Ben happening the last few times we have ordered different items. Did not complain as we know the owner (unless ownership has changed from Richard?), but this time was a must to say something!!
Food is so expensive these days and our bill today was around $75.00+ which is why it is so important to say something.
Hope it gets better after this constructive, friendly criticism.
