The #7 is my go to. And I order it the same way every time. The regular is two meals, which is perfect. Once in a while, I add extra meat, but usually not, because they put plenty on a sandwich.
I haven't had one since November. So, I ordered one today. What arrived not only did not match what I ordered, it is a very different sandwich.
First: it is considerably shorter than the ones I was ordering 2-3 times per week from July to the end of November. It no longer is functionally two meals. It's 1.5, at best. It's barely longer than what used to be a mini.
Second: They left off the banana peppers and the red vine vinegar, resulting in a very bland sandwich. I ordered extra provolone, but if that's extra, this has also decreased dramatically, because it was the same two thin slices they (used to) put on a normal sandwich. So, I did not, in fact, get what I paid for.
I had not ordered oil or mayo or pepper relish on the sandwich (I don't like it on turkey), so the banana peppers and red wine vinegar were meant to do the heavy flavor lifting.
Third: Either the lettuce was wet, or the bun was under-baked, because the whole thing was soggy and the bread was crushed flat.
Fourth: Just an observation that the quality of their turkey has declined and it is now very salty, waterlogged, and there is little-to-no turkey flavor present.
Fifth: I paid $18.28, plus (reduced) service fee, plus Dasher tip, for a really bad sandwich. It will not hold up to refrigeration for the "second meal."
The relish is ok. Not as good as what I had when I lived in New England, but serviceable.
The cookies are ok. Too sweet for my taste, but my coworkers will scarf them up. I thought they were chocolate chunk, but they also seem to have butterscotch in them, rendering them too sweet.
So, yeah. Definitely will NOT be ordering from them again, any time soon. There are too many better sandwiches available for a better price.
