Same taste I remembered.
This was my favourite restaurant in town as a kid and I figured I'd have a taste of nostalgia. Almost decade later it's still amazing. 10/10 great value for portion size.

Tough review as I usually like Kam Yin. Unfortunately the last couple orders have had some rough spots. the sweet and Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls / 酸甜鸡球 were a bit tough and the sauce had a strange aftertaste. The Chicken Fried Rice / 鸡肉炒饭 was great but the Sautéed Mixed Vegetables / 蒜蓉炒什菜 were bland.
Portion size has also reduced over time.

All rice was abs horrible. Tastes old and smells like it came from a burnt pot. The pineapples taste like water and lemon. The onions taste like they have been sitting in lemon all week. I wouldn't order this ever again.

The beef fried rice was delicious! All the flavours were there, and there was a good amount of beef in the mix. I also had the honey garlic spare ribs and I was not expecting the dryness. I was expecting saucy and flavourful ribs. Don't recommend that

The guest experience is second to none at Kam Yin, you get treated like family. the take out depends on your delivery service, it they dont use a hot-bag or tip over your order its not pleasant, but the food is still good and highly recommended.
