Having ordered sushi from multiple Milwaukee restaurants I find the portions and ingredients at Kanpai are far and away the best in the area.
The service can be slow at times, but I am willing to wait a little longer in order to get a better product.

Rock & Roll was just bad. I couldn't eat it. Hardly any shrimp, tasted like straight fried breading. Gyoza probably would have been good but they forgot the sauce, so it was a little dry. Super disappointing.

Everything was amazing as always! The naruto roll is my favorite, the salad and seaweed salad also excellent.

Love the rice, miso soup, veggie maki and veggie special maki. Everything is very fresh and the miso is very flavorful.
