I want to say I'm on day 2 :))))) ordering.. there was a mistake in my order I called they were so pleasant and helpful...took care of it ASAP!!!! Now if you want great delicious fried plantain plus the food here's the place... btw the Fried Plantain (Bannann Peze) are nice and soft and still be good next day now tell me where you can get that .... EXTREMELY happy customers:))))))))

When I tell youuuuu. My food was made to PERFECTION. I order a Legume Small with rice and beans (diri kole) and an order of Plantain cups with turkey 5pc . I only got a 4 pc but either way is cool because THATS HOW GOOD THIS WAS . The turkey was fried but still tender. The plantain was soft and crispy at the same time. Perfectly cooked. Perfectly spicy

The fried chicken with peppers and onions was good with the spicy coleslaw ( pikliz ) and red sauce , the rice and beans wasnt overcooked and was very flavorful and the potato salad wasnt expected but complimented the food very well good job. I would say add 2 fried plantain because it should be added as its a staple of any haitian meal but once again the food was absolutely tasty and filling enough for two portions! I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE LOVED IT.

Lakay never disappoints. My wife and I come or order from here often. I'm a fan of the Griot Fritay Large , and my wife loves the lalo. The large is a generous portion - enough for one person to have for dinner and typically have something left over for lunch the next day.
The food is always great, and the family that runs the restaurant is very friendly. Now that they offer ordering through DoorDash, it's super convenient to order ahead and grab food to go.

Lalo and legumes don't go with turkey neck which gives a a bad taste and too much salt bad Haitian food ever and the okras is very disgusting on 2 pieces of meat in each plate , and very bad customer service very arrogant and I think it should be best if you guys make it clear you only have turkey on every dish
