• 5 days agoEverything was way too dark like it was cooked in old oil/grease. Couldn't even eat the fish due to the batter being like a brick. Pretty disappointing. Hush puppies were ok but you could still tell they were cooked in old oil/grease I could only eat one. Shrimp same thing.

• 30/06/24I got everything I ordered which is good. I eat food from LJS probably once a year and this year it seems their chicken and fish have shrunk to half the size that it used to be. I got 10 pieces so I doubt I just got a bad batch. It's sad that the price goes up and the size goes down. This review doesn't reflect on the employees, but the franchise itself. Seriously, the fish was twice the size last year and every time before that. Other than that, the chicken was a bit dry and overcooked; probably due to using the same frying time for a tiny, thin piece of chicken rather than what they used to serve. The hushpuppies were my favorite part because they didn't change at all.

• 14/01/26I used to like LJS but hadn't had it in a while. The fish didn't taste fresh... it had a very fishy taste. The shrimp was overcooked. I won't order it again. The hush puppies were good as was the chocolate cheesecake.
