The first time I stepped into this restaurant I felt I was at the right place to eat. First of all the atmosphere was welcoming, with a clean and fresh look of the dining area. Of course this is what makes you want to stay and have your meal. when I moved towards the food line. The amazing display of options took my breathe away. So, sometime later after placing my order of oxtail I glanced over and saw the server serving soup. I ordered a cup, omgoodness . if you want the real Jamaican cowfoot soup check this place out. It's Mackariba Kitchen the place for your any meal stop. Listen people keep it moving until you reach Mackariba Kitchen.

I ordered Stew peas They did not have any in stock and when I got to the store, they offered me oxtail at the same cost. Afterwards I got a notification from DoorDash that I was charging additional $5/$7. That is deceptive. I will not be ordering from them again.

This is my THIRD time ordering from this establishment, and somehow, they’ve managed to disappoint me all three times.
The first time, my food wasn’t ready, and the quality wasn’t all that great. The second time, they didn’t have what I ordered. Now, on my third order, they completely messed up my food. At this point, I decided to reach out to the business directly to make them aware of the repeated issues.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, I was called a “difficult person to please.” Excuse me? All I wanted was the meal I paid for! There’s a BIG difference between being difficult to please and expecting a business to get your order right. I gave this establishment THREE chances, and somehow, I’m the problem? Make it make sense!
A refund was offered, but after that unnecessary comment, I declined. At that point, it wasn’t even about the money. It was about respect and customer service. You can offer someone their money back, but that doesn’t excuse the way you speak to them.
Now, let me be fair because I’m going to give credit where credit is due. The GOAT is a solid 10/10! No complaints there. I’m always going to keep it real, even when I’m disappointed.
The curry chicken? 2/10.
The fried chicken? 0/10.
My issue isn’t that mistakes happen. Mistakes happen everywhere. My issue is how you handle those mistakes and treat the people who spend their hard-earned money with you.
So, if you order from this establishment, GET THE GOAT! That’s my honest recommendation. Everything else? Proceed at your own risk.
Three orders, three disappointing experiences, and somehow I’m the difficult one. The math ain’t mathing!

the food is good it's just dry, please put a gravy or a sauce over the protein stop serving dry plates. if i didn't change my order from a delivery to a pick up i would've never been able to ensure that the oxtail gravy was placed in the bag. my recommendation: plate the food as if you were serving yourself..

Love the Rasta pasta that I got, flavorful, spicy, right down my alley. The oxtail on the other hand was burnt down to the meat.
