• 5/11/23AMAZING food. The dan dan DànDàn Noodles.. are so fresh, bouncy, and flavorful. The Eggplant with Roasted Garlic.. is light and refreshing. The dry pot is UNREAL. I get my dry pot with fish fillet (perfectly tender and just a little crisp on the edges), pork belly, quail eggs (good number of them and a nicely creamy yolk), and shiitake mushrooms. It has always come perfectly cooked, even with takeout and travel time. SO delicious and worth every bite. 15/10 best place to eat

• 23/07/25I did not get spicy because I was eating at work and didnt want to a stomachache. However, I did not expect it to be so bad. It was really really salty sauce and unfresh ingredients. I ordered Lamb but got beef as the meat. The portion was good and filling, but I would never order it again.

• 25/10/25Their Dry Pots are so unbelievably delicious -- and so healthy. I actually feel better after I eat them because they have Chinese medicinal herbs. Im obsessed! This food is very good, especially if you're looking for authentic Chinese food.

• 20/09/25Good flavor, but extremely small portions. We have ordered dry pot several times and the more items we add, the less food arrives. If you order shrimp or squid, you will only get a few pieces and they will reduce the amount of other items.
High heat for spice fans, but there is no in between: the lowest level is not spicy at all, and the next options are very spicy!
This is over $60 worth of added ingredients.

• 3/03/24Mala project is truly my favorite meal in NYC and it holds a special place in my heart. It brings me joy to bring people here and have them experience the delicious mala dry pot. Here's my order: spicy dry pot with sliced eye of round (beef), fish fillet, enoki mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and rice cakes.
