So you know when you have a craving for some good Puerto Rican food? I was thinking about pork chops with white rice and beans all day and ordered from Mis Raices for the first time but it won't be my last. Everything, and I mean everything was on point. From the Pork chops to the pollo guisado and the pernil which was topped with a crunchy delicious sinful piece of pork skin it was all great. The rice whoa! The yuca with garlic whoa! Definitely doing this again when the craving hits again.

Love this place. First time ordering this dish and it did not disappoint. The pork chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Empanadas are always fresh. Definitely ordering this dish again. The price for what you get is outstanding value

The oxtails hardly had any meat. It was just bones and not enough for the money. The rice and beans was tasty and the chicken soup was delicious. The chicken however was not diced properly. It was just ripped and thrown into the soup.

I ordered the Pernil and Chicharron De Pollo. The chicharron de pollo was soggy with grease and was not crispy.
The pernil container was half filled with soggy skin. There was no crunchy skin. See picture below. I know I ordered at the end of the day but come on even the beans were wack and watery.
