Best chicken shawarma in the tri-city area! Always full of flavour and never any gristle on the chicken. Toppings are great, especially their pickled turnip and garlic sauce. Rice is always soft but still has a bite to it.

This place was the undisputed best shawarma spot before plates became $30 but now it's just another shawarma spot in Waterloo because of price changes. Highland shawarma has taken the throne for sure.
I remember being able to pickup a plate with extra chicken for $17 now I need a second job to afford it.

Shawarma Plate (large) = Small portion, sauce consists of mayo and garlic powder, meat although not bone dry is very close to being so.

I can see why the shawarma plate has nothing but positive reviews. Probably the best shawarma plate in Kitchener/Waterloo. Huge portion of food and everything is fresh
