I tried Persepolis over the weekend, craving a taste of nostalgia having always eaten Persian food with my Assyrian family growing up. I'm still new to Seattle, but have not found many Persian food places around, mostly Mediterranean but sparingly. I'm so happy I found Persepolis. I walked in the first time we picked it up it, and the food smell instantly hit my nose bringing me back to my grandpas house. The staff were typical Persian and the food came packaged in those big tin trays. I knew it was about to hit, but wasn't expecting it to be one of the best tasting persian places I've had. Lately meat quality has gone down when getting meals out, but Persepolis's meat quality was 10/10. It was so tender, juicy, and filled with flavor and spices. I was so happy they included the pita, tomato, onion and herbs as well. Ah! And don't forget the side of sumac! It was everything I was looking for. I couldn't stop thinking about it I had to go again in less than a week! Thank you Persepolis for bringing me back to the memories of my childhood and family with your food!!

Worst Persian food from top to bottom. Tah dig was a tragedy, overdone and hard as crackers. Baghali polo was bone dry, no flavor with the dill, and not buttery. Chicken barg came with too few pieces of meat. Ghormeh sabzi was just beans. The only decent thing was the dough.

Overpriced for sure, 30 bucks for a small plate of beef, such a ripoff.
The portion is only half as showed in the picture.
