I ordered the catfish meal with macaroni and cheese and fries. To start with the fries, they appeared to be handmade, which I appreciated, but they could have been fried just a little longer for better texture.
The catfish itself was very thin compared to the amount of breading. Although it was fried hard, the fish was so thin that the breading overpowered it, making the texture feel uneven. It also could have used a bit more seasoning.
The macaroni and cheese was warm in some spots but cold in others, and overall it lacked flavor.
Unfortunately, the meal did not meet my expectations. Overall, I would rate it a 4 out of 10.

Huge portion, good flavor, but potatoes are a little undercooked, my "toast" is literal bread, and the extra gravy I ordered is in a tiny tiny cup.

best homeade french fries I had in long time. Catfish Meal(after 11am ONLY) has a nce corn meal base coating. The fish fillet was a good size portion but i ordered cabbage and got green beans.Not much of complaint because they're flavored perfectly. I think shoppers sauce is a Chipotle tarter blend? Compliments the fish and fries quite well.
