overall, good but not great.
had the MUSHROOM GNOCCHI once before,ordered instore, and it wasn't as good this time around - the gnocchi themselves were very chewy. the sauce, spinach, and mushrooms were absolutely delicious !
the SPRING PEA SOUP promised croutons but it was pieces of bread already put in the soup, so it was just a half bowl of soup and a half bowl of super soggy bread. the soup part was good though.
the SMASHED GRILLED CHEESE was very rich and seemed to have garlic bread, which wasn't indicated on the menu (I wouldn't have ordered it if it had).
the ISLAND BAR was absolutely delicious. essentially a dissected and modified Nanaimo bar

Private review for restaurant- Tasted OK but not overly fresh. The serving size was large but overall but not worth the price for what it is. Significantly more expensive than a traditional and delicious lobster roll on east coast. The bun tasted and resembled more like hot dog bun than brioche bun. A little parsley added would go a LONG way with this dish as well as a fresh hand made brioche bun. I don't think I would order this dish again but looking forward to trying more menu items from here.

paid for a Large 1250 TRAY but got a small. MUSHROOM GNOCCHI was so chewy and doughey that it was basically inedible (managed 2 bites). HAM + CHEESE CROQUETTES were disappointingly only fried mashed potatoes with possibly one tiny piece of ham each.
the whipped feta & yogurt dip with ther fresh bannock (part of the 1250 TRAY ) was amazing, but there was less in the "large" tray than when we ordered the small tray in-store

The salads flavours didn't go together. The burger wasn't good. The fettuccini had no sauce but had so much pepper in it. The croquettes were bland. The only thing that was good was the CLASSIC POUTINE but it's hard to mess that up.
