tanuki has been one of my favorite places since they opened. their hibachi is great, their bentos are perfectly sized and provisioned, their rolls are wonderful, and the classics like Edamame and shumai are done better than most. just a lovely little place.

The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Really good. Veg were a bit mushy and fried rice was very bland and had nothing in it. Smaller portions than most hibachi places but didn't bother us; just surprising w the prices.

Not worth the money and will not order again. The serving size is the smallest I have ever seen for the price. The food was okay at best. The fried rice is awful. No veggies. Literally rice and soy sauce. Don't waste your time.

Once again the hibachi chicken was excellent. This time we tried the sushi - it was great, and they accommodated my substitution of soy paper for the nori (with a minimal up charge). Highly recommend!

One hibachi combo, after fees and all, for $51! Really expensive. Delicious, but it should have cost $33.
