Delicious rolls, out favorite sushi place in the area. The only thing that would be better is if they would package the ginger and wasabi separately in deliveries, the wasabi taints the ginger 😔

I've been going to trappers for years. Mainly the puyallup, Bonney lake, Tacoma and Covington locations. This is my first time trying from the Lacey location and the quality of food was really noticeable. I usually dine in but I have had plenty of delivers too. My rolls tasted like they were probably premade and put in the fridge for later orders. The rice was pretty hard and the veggies were soft and no crunch. Also I ordered the Mt rainier. And the spicy scallops seemed to be all chopped up. Very strange and not what I expected from previous ordering this roll and by the picture provided on the menu. Pretty bummed that I spent a good chunk of money for sushi that tasted like I got it from the grocery store.

I ordered sushi and tempura through DoorDash for pickup and spent almost $95 for my birthday dinner. I ordered tempura and 5 different sushi rolls, and I was really disappointed with the quality. The tempura portions were extremely small and mostly just batter. The Trump Roll barely had any filling, and the crab tasted burnt. One of the rolls also had way fewer fish eggs on top compared to the photo online. For almost $20 per roll, I expected much better quality and freshness. Overall, the food tasted burnt and did not feel worth the price at all. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience was really disappointing.

The *Puyalp Rollup was mainly rice with tempura. Little to no ingredients. Bland. This was buy 1 get 1 free and it was not worth it. I expected some salmon, could not taste any or locate any. Same with the cream cheese. Super disappointing. I would not order from here again.

Did not add extra teriyaki that I paid for, not the first time either. The salmon is dyed super pink which is weird and making the rice super pink? Used to be happy with this place love the Jayson hand roll is a FAV when its made correctly and the Philly is my go to!! Please make things better so I can keep coming here!
