Generally General Tso's chicken is a little spicy and very sweet: Triple Pepper really added a lot of great umami and spice to the dish to balance the sweetness. Definitely the best version in Houston.
The spicy wontons are fantastic, a little of the numbing pepper and fantastic flavor. Another best in Houston IMO.

The Chongqing Spicy Boiled Blood and Offal portion was extremely small for the price $35. There were very few ingredients overall. The luncheon meat had only two thin slices, and the dish was mostly pig intestines. It did not match the description or expectations at all. Very poor value.

We LOVE triple pepper! The food comes fresh, warm, and packed securely every time we order. The portions are large--we order and have enough for leftovers every time! One of our favorite restaurants!

I really wanted to like this place. We ordered General Tso's Chicken / 左宗棠鸡 and got something more like Sweet and Sour Pork. The House Special Fried Rice / 本楼炒饭 was entirely too sweet and even then, still on the bland side. The green Dry-Fried Green Beans /干煸四季豆 were perfectly fine.

This dish is for those who really REALLY like spice! Lot of different peppers and chicken is cooked very well. Have gotten this dish twice Now and it's very consistent.
