I really love the food but can't really justify the price. The Alu gohbi consisted of maybe one small potato and a couple branches of cauliflower and they charge 20 dollars for it. Delicious but in this economy not worth it. They should consider lowering their prices to get more orders not raising prices.

Whoa. So damn good! The Alu Dilliwala Alu Tikka remind me of potato patties a neighbor used to make us growing up. Hers weren't deep fried, but the flavor is spot on and closest I've found! Love that the chicken tikka Cashew Tikka Masala is flavorful and spicy without being overpowering and still being creamy! And the rice. It's actually so good!! I'm usually loyal to spice room but will definitely order again!

The Butter Chicken was tasty, the Basmati Rice Royale was included with the dish but it wasnt clear so I ordered more rice $4 more. Ugh. Now ihave a ton of rice that I don't need. Didnt care for the Paan Coconut Laddoo as it has dates/nutty/liquorice flavor in the middle. overall the food is comparable to what i am accustomed to in Houston (visiting Chicago) Indian cuisine. Knocked off a star because no utensils or napkins provided. Should always include plasticware!

Highly nuanced, fresh authentic flavors and spices. Cashew Tikka Masala a major win for non-dairy palates. Lamb Rogan Josh rich and decadent. Shrimp Dum Biryani heat level great; but wish there were more shrimp. Garlic Naan flavrofuland crisped well.

I have tried several Indian restaurants and I can confidently say that Vajra is the best. Their quality and taste is always consistent and worth the higher price point. I cannot recommend it enough, especially the Bhindi Masala and Mushroom Jalfreizie.
