• 6/08/25I finally gave in and treated myself to the Patty Melt and Onion Rings from Whataburger—and wow, it did not disappoint!
Let’s start with the Patty Melt. It’s everything a comfort food lover could hope for: two juicy beef patties, perfectly grilled Texas toast, creamy pepper sauce, and a generous layer of melted Monterey Jack cheese. It’s rich, messy, and full of bold flavor. That pepper sauce adds just the right kick without overpowering the meat. It’s definitely more indulgent than your average burger, but in the best way possible.
Now the Onion Rings—these deserve their own spotlight. Thick-cut, golden, and crispy on the outside while staying tender and sweet inside. They don’t have that greasy aftertaste like a lot of fast food rings do. Each bite has that satisfying crunch, and they hold up even without dipping sauce (though they pair great with ranch or spicy ketchup if you’re into that).
If you’re craving a fast food meal that feels more like a diner indulgence, this combo hits the spot. Hearty, flavorful, and made with care—it’s everything I wanted and more.

• 11/04/24I always get the Whataburger® Patty Melt, definitely my favorite! It has a little kick to it and everything is alwas to my liking except sometimes the bread is a littl too burnt for me... overall it still tastes amazing. The fries always top it off
