About Joann's Fine Foods
Joann's Fine Foods is a lively Tex-Mex diner and patio spot tucked inside the iconic Austin Motel on bustling South Congress. Think laid-back charm with a little swagger—cozy booths, shady patio seating, and a palapa bar that's always buzzing. The vintage diner has been lovingly restored with mahogany paneling, midcentury furniture, and photos of famous Texans lining the walls. The menu serves up Tex-Mex and diner classics straight off the mesquite grill, plus one of Austin's best frozen margaritas from an extensive tequila and mezcal bar. Perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner on the strip.
