"I am beyond frustrated with the order that I got from Village Inn. I ordered a double-decker sandwich with French fries and a Cobb salad through DoorDash, and what I received was completely unacceptable.
The sandwich bread was burnt, and the French fries were practically nonexistent. I counted maybe seven fries total, yet I was charged for a full order. The fries honestly looked like someone had already eaten most of them and sent the leftovers anyway.
The Cobb salad was a complete disaster and didn’t come anywhere close to what it’s supposed to be. It was missing chicken and eggs, the lettuce was old and wilted, and the tomatoes were spoiled. This was not just careless — it was flat-out inedible.
To make matters worse, when I called the store and spoke with the assistant manager, he told me he “checked on my order” and that everything should have been included. That makes this even more insulting. If the order was actually checked, how did no one notice that the salad was missing major ingredients, made with old produce, and that the sandwich bread was burnt and the fries were barely there?
I am appalled at how far customer service and food quality have declined. We are paying more than ever for food, delivery fees, and service, yet somehow receiving burnt food, missing items, spoiled ingredients, and half portions is considered acceptable. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I will seriously think twice before ordering again.
And yes, that is the salad in my trash because it was so bad and uneatable!"

"I ordered Chophouse Burger for the first time. It is a larger and thicker beef patty. It was good but it wasn't spectacular or worth 24 dollars in my book .
There was too much salt added for my taste. I was pleased that it was well done as I had ordered.

"You may have noticed that I placed two back-to-back DoorDash orders from the same restaurant. In the first order, I mistakenly selected a dish that I thought was made with beef, but it was actually lamb. The menu used a name I wasn't familiar with, so I didn't realize it contained lamb. In hindsight, that part was my mistake.
Because I strongly dislike the taste of lamb, I couldn't eat it and ended up throwing the meal away. I then placed a second order for a beef dish with fries. The menu clearly stated that it was beef. However, what I received was a mixture of beef and lamb.
Lamb has a very distinct taste that makes me gag, so I was unable to eat that meal as well. As a result, I wasted both time and money on these orders. Unfortunately, this experience has been very disappointing, and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again."
