"I found La Patrona on Google and wanted to try it. When I saw they offered DoorDash delivery, I placed an order and was not disappointed.
I ordered three asada tacos, a prickly pear taco, a quesadilla, rice and beans, plus chips and salsa. Right away, I appreciated the packaging. The tacos were on top of wax paper, which kept them from getting soggy during delivery, and everything arrived fresh.
The asada tacos were my favorite. The steak had a great char, was nicely portioned, and wasn’t fatty at all. The toppings added a lot of flavor without overpowering the meat. The prickly pear taco was a pleasant surprise and tasted fresh with a pico de gallo style topping that worked really well.
The quesadilla was exactly how I like it: crispy, cheesy, and not greasy. Every bite had the perfect amount of melted cheese.
My only complaint is the salsa container that came with the chips. The portion seemed fine, but the container was not very dip friendly.
Overall, everything from La Patrona was delicious. The flavors were there, the food traveled well, and I would absolutely order again. I would easily recommend them for either takeout or dine in."
