"I celebrated my birthday at Aaktun. We enjoyed the Strawberry Lemonade, Horchata Latte, Tropical Shrimp and Grits, OG Burger, and The Little Bull French Toast. Reading the menu can be a little intimidating if you are not familiar with the flavors or items. I was very hesitant about the Shrimp and Grits after reading the ingredients on their website, but it tasted amazing! Also, when I saw the pictures on the site, I almost did not try this restaurant. Luckily, my initial impression was from a food review on Instagram. They made the French toast look amazing, but on the website it looked nothing like the review. I for sure eat with my eyes first. Definitely try this restaurant. Excellent vibes. Nice staff. Great food!"

These were without a doubt the best restaurant burgers we have had since I don't know when. First of all they were HUGE, they were actual ground beef and appear to be handmade patties. We ordered them medium and they were perfectly cooked for our liking, a little more rare than most places but we would rather have them less cooked (correctable) than overcooked. Fries and onion rings are difficult to rate because they don't travel well for crispness, but the flavor was right on point. Vinson's burgers just may become a Friday night tradition in our house, they are that good!"
